Brazil Coronavirus Aid Report
We are thrilled to report that thanks to the CHLQ extended family, we have already raised over $4,000 in aid for the people and communities in Lumiar and Mauá to whom we have such an enduring and heart-centered connection. Every dollar of this money will be targeted directly to the immediate needs of these communities where our dear friends have been hit hard by the virus.
Thank you everyone who has helped so far, whether your contribution was large or small, financial or prayers and solidarity.
The money arrived in one rapid wave as soon as our request went out, an immediate response that speaks to the kindness of our community and the understanding of how dire the situation has become.

Materials Needed for the Baixinha Documentation Project
Dear brothers and sisters, I hope you are well and healthy. I am reaching out to share with you a project
that was started at the church in Lumiar. The goal of this project is to
preserve the memory and history of Flor da Montanha and of Baixinha’s life and
work. Cleris, who is part of Flor da Montanha, has
been collecting and organizing all everything. She has put great effort into
collecting photos, voice recordings and videos of flor da montanha and of
Baixinha’s work. I am reaching out to our brothers and sisters
in North America to contribute to this project. Please contact me if you have any materials
you can share to be included in this project such as photos, recordings,

Transition Time at the CHLQ Office
We wish to offer our sincere gratitude to Chelsea DeMercado for her sacred service to CHLQ as our Administrator. Chelsea,
thank you for your time, energy, heart, wisdom and beauty that you
invested into the operations of our Church and the functioning of our
community. We are grateful for all of your efforts, your intelligence,
your inspiration, and the blessing of your presence. And we celebrate
that you now are completing this role as you prepare to start a family!

All of the plants in the CHLQ office have gone back to their original owners, and as a result the office could use a lift of the kind that only living plants give. If you have indoor plants available for donation consider helping bring the office to life. The more plants the better! Large plants, small plants - all are welcome and will be loved and cared for. A Thank-You from Justin
My dearest Brothers and Sisters of CHLQ and
beyond, I am writing to thank every single person
who has given me anything from prayers, light, love, good thoughts, well
wishes, and of course monetary support. Because all of this not only am I able to
discover what is really going on with my body but I have also been able to get
real treatment. The list of serious conditions was long and
scary, but I swear in one day I started to feel way better. The doctor
says I am doing amazingly well and I am way way better than he expected. This is a huge part to do with being in a spiritual family where people
actually love each other and sincerely pray for each other. Not to
mention all the Divine Beings God and The Divine Mother who also help us and
heal us. I am not done with my treatment nor am I
done with tests. But I can tell you that I am doing way better than I was
and you have all helped me obtain the treatments and supplements I have needed
thus far. I will have more expenses, but for now I have everything I
need for the rest of the program and all the supplements I will need. I take my
last test of this run July 13th in which case I will give an update. I do
have to figure in one test and also a surgery. I will

A Note on the Virtual Works
Thank you to everyone who participated in the virtual works. Despite their experimental nature, we felt it necessary to allow people to continue to practice their religion and work with the Santo Daime during the pandemic. It was an opportunity for people to learn how to navigate in the Daime in their own space and take more responsibility for themselves. Despite the novel format, we received many reports from people who had powerful, useful, strong works during this time.
Thanks to Jonathan for navigating how to translate the in-person experience to Zoom and hold the space virtually; this wasn't an easy thing to pull off. He did an excellent job. Thanks also to David and Jane and Jonathan for distributing the sacrament to people so they could do Zoom works in their homes. And thank you to everyone who played a role in helping to make these works happen so successfully.
We're glad to be able to come back together in person to do live works now; hopefully we can continue despite the unusual times.
We also wish to thank to all the people who contributed monetarily in
making donations for the sacrament provided for the Zoom works, and we
also wish to extend deep gratitude to all our CHLQ members who continued
tithing during these times as well, as it has provided much-needed
support for us to continue sustaining our Church!
