| HOW DO NO-MASH KITS SAVE TIME AND MONEY? | | In designing these new recipe kits, we have deployed a few techniques to save time and to save money. Consider: Working with recipes that do not require specialty malts allows you to skip the 45 minute mini-mash process, and also reduces the cost of the beer. SAVES TIME & MONEY! Removing general brewing supplies---such as yeast nutrient, Whirlfloc, and salts---from each individual kit reduces the packaging cost, and thus the retail price of the kit, significantly. Buying these items in larger bulk is much cheaper when spread across a few recipes. This is our recommendation for these kits. SAVES MONEY! Dried beer yeast does not require any starter since they generally activate very quickly once pitched. They are also lower priced than liquid yeast. All of these kits make use of dried yeast.
