Aromas of herbs, spices and flowers. | About Hallertau Mittelfruh | Hallertau is one of the classic "noble aroma hops" with ever-so-subtle flower and spice fragrances defining its uber alles superiority. It is named for its origins in the Hallertauer region of Germany. It has very low bittering value. The prototypical German hop known for its delicacy and high quality.
Aromas of herbs, spices and flowers. | | Perle is a newer German variety, now also grown quite successfully in the U.S. It is a medium alpha hop with a very clean, almost minty bitterness and refreshing, spicy aroma. It has many of the aromatic characteristic of the traditional German "noble hops" (hallertau, saaz, tettnang, spalt), but has been bred with a higher bittering potential, making it more efficient as a bittering hop.
Aromas of citrus, flowers and tropical fruit. | | Amarillo has aromas of citrus, especially orange, flowers and tropical fruit. It has been brought to market in beers such as Knee Deep Hoparillo Triple IPA, Dogfish Head 60 Minute IPA, Hangar 24 Amarillo Pale Ale. It has high aromatic oil content, and moderate bittering potential with relatively low cohumulone content, making it appropriate for bittering as well as aromatic uses. AMARILLO® is a trademark owned by Virgil Gamache Farms, Inc.

Aromas of tropical fruit, citrus and stone fruit. | | El Dorado® was developed by CLS Farms, LLC in 2008 and released in 2010. It has become beloved for its exceptional, candied tropical fruit character with elements of pineapple, stone fruit, lime/citrus and even melon.
Aromas of tropical fruit, pine and stone fruit. | | Idaho 7 was first released in 2015 and saw immediate popularity with commercial brewers who loved it for its Mosaic-esque complexity. Idaho 7 bridges the gap between new wave tropical fruit aromas and the classic American citrus and pine of California IPAs.

Aromas of citrus, tropical fruit, herbs and stone fruit. | | Sabro was first contracted by Russian River Brewing company as an Ales for ALS fundraising release for homebrewers in 2015---at that time it was known only as HBC 438. The next year, Russian River brought it to market in a popular beer release Ron Mexico. As of 2018 it became available to the marketplace for all to enjoy the beautiful tropical, citrus, herbal complexity in any beer they can conceive. Sabro has proven to be a strongly expressive hop that translates its flavor incredibly well into beer. It is a good choice in single hop beers and holds its place well as the focus of any hoppy beer.

Aromas of herbs, citrus, and onion/garlic. | | CTZ is high on the bittering scale and yet it is mainly valued for its oil content which contributes an interesting dichotomy of sharp, herbal and citrus notes. |
Aromas of herbs, spices, flower and citrus. | | Bred from UK Fuggle hops, its modest bittering value and the joyous harmony of flowers, fruit, earth and spice makes Willamette a great aromatic addition to many styles of beer. |
Aromas of herbs, pine, citrus and flowers. | | Nugget has a strong herbal and slightly spicy aroma with high bittering value and low potential for astringency (along with desirable growing traits) which has brought this hop variety to the forefront of the industry as a bittering hop with interesting aromatic applications. |
Aromas of flowers, herbs, spices and earth & grass.
