Attention members of Tennessee Gun Clubs and Gun RangesTennessee Firearms Association has been around since 1995 and has focused on primarily legislative and legal issues that impact Tennessee's firearms owners. We have had great success in Tennessee and we have developed a degree of
expertise in the effort that has been repeatedly recognized by the
Tennessee Legislature.
Many firearms owners in Tennessee are members of clubs, hunting organizations, organizations that operate gun ranges or gun clubs or collectors organizations. Some of these organizations and their members devote time and effort to improving Tennessee's gun laws but that is not their primary focus. Tennessee Firearms Association wants to reach out to all such organizations as we move forward in a post-Covid world and move toward the 2021 legislative cycle.
We know now, based on 25 years of history and experience, that we can improve Tennessee's firearms and 2nd Amendment in substantial ways related laws but it will often require the public voice of interested gun owners and hunters to impress on the legislature and the governor that these changes are required.
TFA wants to reach out to introduce the efforts and free information
available through the Tennessee Firearms Association to these other organizations. TFA wants to get the word out to firearms owners and 2nd Amendment supporters in
Tennessee about legislation that TFA will be supporting in 2021 in the
Tennessee legislature such as improvements to civil immunity, changes to the self-defense
law to provide greater protections to victims of violent crime, changes to the
law to allow victims to protect their homes and businesses, passing true
constitutional carry such as 17 other states have done, and even improvements
to Tennessee’s range protection act.
TFA makes all of this information freely available through
its website, its free email update service, its FB group, and through liason
access of these other firearms related organizations directly with TFA’s leadership.
If you are on the board of any other firearms or hunting related organization in Tennessee and would like to establish a stronger working relationship with TFA for the benefit of your organization and your members, we want to talk with you. If you are a member of such an organization, we would encourage you to reach out to your organization's board of directors to pursue the further development of a working relationship and network.
