Tennessee does NOT have constitutional carry. What you need to understand before you vote.
It is a simple fact, if you know the truth, that Tennessee does not have real constitutional or, for that matter, any form of constitutional carry. Yet there are incumbent Republicans all over the state including Bill Lee, Jack Johnson and others who have on their websites or are telling voters that Tennessee enacted constitutional carry in 2021. Saying it, does not make it true.
Before you vote in August or in November, you should read the facts about what constitutional carry is, why Tennessee does not have constitutional carry and what that failure means for Tennesseans.
The TFA's new report is long but detailed. It contains quotes of statutes and video clips of committee hearings to demonstrate the facts. The facts are beyond dispute.
Joe Biden is trying to redefine what constitutes a recession, but that does not change the facts. Similarly some Republicans have tried to redefine what constitutes constitutional carry but their assertions just can't changes the facts.
