2022 Annual Event – Saturday, September 3, 2022
The United States Supreme Court issued its opinion on June 23, 2022, reaffirming what we all know - that the 2nd Amendment protects an individual right to carry firearms for self-defense outside the home. That opinion raises huge questions about whether Tennessee's existing gun laws are unconstitutional - a matter TFA is presently working. However, it also makes it critical that we elect and re-elect only individuals who have proven their core beliefs that the 2nd Amendment protects a right and that existing Tennessee laws violate that right.
You can help by supporting the TFALAC which is the political action committee that helps elect true conservatives to the Tennessee Legislature and other offices. Indeed, we are signing up additional sponsors now who are elated by what the Supreme Court opinion means in terms of forcing change in Tennessee!
The TFALAC’s 2022 Annual Meeting and fund raiser will be held on Saturday, September 3, 2022. Doors will open for registration at approximately 9:00 a.m, to be followed by a BBQ lunch, silent and live auctions, announcements and guest speakers.
We are expecting to be joined by Erich Pratt
as one of the speakers.
Mr. Pratt is the Senior Vice President for Gun Owners of America, where
he has been employed since 1990. GOA is a national grassroots
organization representing more than 1.5 million Americans dedicated to
promoting their Second Amendment freedom to keep and bear arms.
The event will be at the Farm Bureau Expo Center in Wilson County, Tennessee this year. Individual tickets are $60 per person. Table Groups of 6 are $350 per group.
