Second Amendment Christmas Season in Tennessee We are less than 10 days to Christmas in Tennessee. As this Holiday approaches, Tennessee Firearms Association wanted to reach out and encourage each of you to be mindful of the "2nd Amendment Supply Chain" that is under attack not only by the federal government but to some extent by our own state government.
What is the Second Amendment Supply Chain? Well, as we learned during Covid and continuing to today, it is that part of our nation and economy that is critical to your ability to exercise the right to keep and bear arms. It is the manufacturers, the wholesalers, and the gun stores. It is not only those who make and distribute firearms but it includes those who make and distribute ammo, accessories, and training. How many of us would be able to exercise the 2nd Amendment is we had to entirely make our own firearms or ammo? The 2nd Amendment Supply Chain is critical.
As you go about this Holiday period, perhaps you have some additional shopping to do. Please consider supporting those in the 2nd Amendment Supply Chain. Shop with them and encourage them. Stop by and take classes. Rent the ranges for activities. Give gift certificates. Whatever works for your needs.
Clearly, over the last few years we have lost several in Tennessee due to Biden and his mandates that the ATF increase the number of licensees who are either outright revoked or intimidated into license surrender. Indeed, as an attorney who is willing to represent dealers and manufacturers with license disputes with the ATF, I know first hand that the attack on the supply chain is up several hundred percent and increasing. Unless the GOP controlled House of Representatives does something starting in January 2023 it can and will get worse. This nation and our rights depended on We the People working together to defeat tyranny. That did not end when our ancestors stopped King George. Tyranny is present today and perhaps as much if not more of a danger than King George was.
