Bill Goodman’s Gun &
Knife Show
NASHVILLE,
TN: On Tuesday, July 5 a Tennessee Chancery Court ruled that the only party
able to challenge the Fair Board’s decision to ban gun shows at the Nashville
Fairgrounds is the Nashville Metro Council itself, dismissing claims by Bill
Goodman’s Gun & Knife Show and the Tennessee Firearms Association seeking
to challenge the gun show ban. An appeal
of the court’s ruling will be forthcoming once the court’s decision is
entered. In the meantime, the remaining
gun shows scheduled for 2016 in Nashville @ “The Fairgrounds” will go forward
as planned. (www.GunShow.net/nashville-dates.htm).
Bill
Goodman’s Gun & Knife Show has refused to compromise the rights and
freedoms of its customers in furtherance of the Fair Board’s unabashed anti-gun
agenda that led to the present ban. The
people of Nashville and Middle Tennessee have supported Bill Goodman’s Gun
& Knife Show for decades, and the company remains committed to fight hard
to hold its shows at the Nashville Fairgrounds as it has since the 1970s.
We
are also happy to announce that Bill Goodman’s Gun & Knife Show’s will be
adding a new additional location beginning January
28-29, 2017 @ the brand new “Wilson
County Expo Center”. (www.WilsonCountyExpo.com)
We
will continue to pursue all our legal options concerning The Fairgrounds ban on
gun shows and will keep you posted on the Appeal process and any outcomes. The company looks forward to continuing its
longstanding tradition of hosting quality gun shows in and around Nashville for
years to come, and is grateful for the outpouring of support and patronage that
the community has shown in the recent months.
