We are pleased to report some great news about the Tradier-Global Autotrade alternative to auto-trading our portfolios.

First, only a single account is required at Tradier, regardless of how many portfolios or units you wish to follow. This means that your $10 monthly fee which covers all commissions will save you thousands of dollars (per unit per portfolio) every year compared to what you have been paying at TD Ameritrade. That is absolutely fantastic news for all of us.

Second, you do not have to open an account at Global, only Tradier. The president of Global sent us this explanation, “Clients don't need to explicitly open an account with us. As long as they've used your link to open the tradier account and have filled out the Limited Trading Authorization form and returned it to tradier, tradier will provide us with their account paperwork and Global AutoTrading will automatically contact clients with the credentials they will use to access our web site. Tradier places a hold on incoming funds, so we will contact clients the day before the tradier hold on their funds clears (so it's ok if there is a delay between the time they send everything to tradier and the time they hear from us). Clients will use Global AutoTrading's web site to specify their portfolio selection and unit allocation.”

This all sounds almost too good to be true. What started out as a concern that auto-trade as we knew it would disappear seems to have turned into a huge opportunity for our subscribers to benefit by thousands of dollars each year in saved commissions.
