explain why your profile picture is important.

So, why IS your profile picture important?

Your profile picture is a key aspect of your
personal brand.

It's the very beginnings of the "know, like and trust"
factor that is so critical in this industry.

It lets people see who you are and represents you
as a business person.

People are looking to buy from or join someone
and they are interested in seeing who that may be.

You should avoid using a picture of your pet,
flowers in your garden, your favorite vacation
spot or a logo as your profile picture.

You can use your cover picture to show your
lifestyle, family or other interests but your profile
picture should be you.

In addition, your profile picture should be the
same across all social media platforms.

This lends for easy recognition.

If you want to be taken seriously in this industry,
present yourself in a serious manner.
