wanted to share it with you right away!.
How many times have you stumbled upon a website
and a few seconds after arriving, you get a
pop up?
Sometimes there will be an opt in form on the
sidebar or even at the bottom. Usually, there is an offer
of some kind to get your information.
That's the way it works in marketing - your info for a free
offer.
Hungry marketers are always looking for some
new piece of information that can help their businesses
but grabbing the freebie shouldn't be the end of the process.

THERESA'S MARKETING TIP: Go Beyond The Lead
Magnet.
Every day opt in forms pop out at marketers for a host of
different offers. These lead magnets can be free videos,
E-books, reports and training. Anything free is attractive
especially if it is something that can help in building your
business.
However, the mistake some marketers make is thinking
the free offer is the be all, end all.
So when they fill in their information, they may fill in
a fake name and email address or, if they fill in the correct
name and email address, never respond to subsequent
communication.
They basically take the freebie and run.
In college, you don't take a "Course 101" and expect to be
an expert in the field. You need additional instruction.
So it is with the lead magnet. It's just a taste or intro to the
"meat and potatoes".
So when filling in an opt in form, don't do a disservice to
yourself by not following all the way through. There's much
more where "that" came from and you need it to be successful. :)
