This morning I was out and about and stopped in my neighborhood 7-Eleven for a cup of my favorite cinnamon coffee.

As I waited for my turn in line, a young woman was buying her daily lottery tickets.

When the clerk handed her the tickets, she became a little annoyed because one of the tickets was for one of the games she didn't ask for.

There was a little bit of back and forth between the clerk and the young woman when the manager stepped up and told her no problem and removed the ticket from the stack.

I thought to myself how that single ticket could have been a winning ticket but because the young woman was adamant about not ordering it and was quick to dimiss it, it was taken away.

That's the case so often in our everyday lives. An opportunity may plop right in our faces but because it's not wrapped in a pretty bow or because it may not come with a note saying, "I'm the one", we also dismiss.

I know you're looking for an great opportunity to make some money, I'm mean really, in these times, who's not? You signed up for my offer a while back but haven't followed through.
