Today, someone spammed me...

I don't know who the person is, never saw them 
on social media, never had a conversation with 
the
person!

Yet, they had no problem spamming my inbox...

In this industry, it's so important NOT to be that
person!

People who do this are looked at as amateurs and
unprofessional.

If you're trying to brand yourself, as you really
should be, don't spam anyone!

Instead, make connections, build relationships
and make friends!

That MUST come first. 

Here's a tip:

Make Friends First. Making friends is a key part
of marketing.

If you don’t know how to make friends, you’ll
probably have no prospects.

Making friends on social media is similar to
making friends in person.

In person, you start off a conversation by
building rapport. “Read the room” which means
scan the room for something you can use to
talk about - a picture, an award or an interesting
artifact.

Comment on it and ask questions.

On social media, you’ll look at the profile.
There you’ll find interesting facts like place of
residence, interests, family, recreation,
occupation and more.

These conversation starters can help break the
ice and establish rapport – a necessary part
of network marketing.

Through subsequent conversations, you begin to
form relationships and these relationships turn
into friendships.

It is much easier to ask a friend to become a
customer than it is a total stranger.
