Friend,
It is February and it’s the second month in 2024. Last month while doing the Twenty-One Days of Prayer and Fasting (that we do every year), I determined to have a different approach this year. This year, I will be more involved at church, I will coach more clients, I will be more determined to reach my goals which include reading, writing, and gardening. Also, it’s an election year which means there will be no lack of interesting news!
Â
Geopolitical activities are bound to be interesting. As the world struggles against the plans of the one percent who have decided that the world must be reset to a less populated, more centralized world without borders. The build-back better, new world order crowd and the global elites decided to change everything based on what they have determined the world needs.
Â
In the United States, we are beginning to see this since the borders have been opened and illegal aliens are flooding into the country from at least one hundred twenty-eight countries. Some say that as many as ten million people have illegally come across the border into the country. Chicago, New York, and other sanctuary cities are currently overrun with migrants and the people are not happy.
Â
The American people have no idea of the changes that are coming. While most people struggle with something, most fail to realize that they are like lambs being led to the slaughter. Right now, the United States reminds me of the scripture in the book of Genesis where two nations are in the same womb! “And Isaac intreated the Lord for his wife, because she was barren: and the Lord was intreated of him, and Rebekah his wife conceived.
And the children struggled together within her; and she said, if it be so, why am I thus? And she went to enquire of the Lord.
And the Lord said unto her, two nations are in thy womb, and two manner of people shall be separated from thy bowels; and the one people shall be stronger than the other people; and the elder shall serve the younger”. Genesis 25: 21-23
Â
Some think the division in the country is between black and white, left and right, Democrats and Republicans but, just like the above-referenced scripture, it’s more like two nations in one womb. It was a tug of war for power and dominance. The main difference in today’s case is ideology. It’s impossible to be a Capitalist and a Cultural Marxist at the same time!!
Â
Current events on display daily show that there is a great divide among the people in the United States, but the divide (I believe) is strategic and not random. These divides are intellectual and socioeconomic. Those educated within the past twenty years (my estimate), have an education based more on globalism and socialism rather than patriotism like older generations. Younger generations are more likely to be atheists or have a belief system that tells them that they cannot create a new world without destroying the old one.
Â
Words that once meant one thing suddenly have a different meaning, but the average American doesn’t realize that these commonly used words mean something new, the meanings have been changed. The dictionary (vocabulary) is used as a tool to usher in the new normal. Two such words are “democracy” and “equity” These words are used frequently now but, the ideologies that accompany these words are different.
Â
Many Americans believe that the United States is a “Democracy” but it’s a “Republic” which is a different style of governance. While we use the democratic process in many ways it is always from the foundation of being a republic. The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag says “and to the Republic for which it stands.” During the forming of the nation, the founders debated about what the best structure for the new nation would be and for many reasons, they chose to have a republic. Their experience of living through a monarchy and studying historical information of other nations helped the shaping of the nation’s formation. It took an enormous amount of thought and diligence to establish a country where the individual would have autonomy and rights, it was contrary to other countries.
Â
The more research I do, the more I acknowledge that the people who want to change the nation believe that communism is better, and they are entitled to their opinion, but they are not entitled to force others to submit to their belief. This is the ideology that is driving much of the change the average American sees and is confused by. Earlier in this newsletter when I mentioned Genesis 25, two nations in the same womb are just an analogy and not to be taken in the context of the biblical scripture, what I was trying to illustrate is that two incompatible ideologies are currently warring (mostly through deception) for the nation.
Â
Today we see the erosion of the family, parental rights diminished, authorities forbidden to do the jobs they were created to do, like law enforcement. These are symptoms of one ideology trying to replace the other. While this can be disconcerting and nothing is as it appears, there is hope!
