Land of the Free Because of the Brave

Friend,
This has been an amazing weekend for me! Today is the first day I've opened my laptop (just to wish you a Happy Memorial Day). I've attended two cook-outs in two days with friends and family from New York and the DMV (DC, Maryland and Virginia). Great food and company! Usually, holidays for me is a time to catch-up on work but I've decided to make some changes to get more life balance.
I hope you're having a great time too!! This holiday is to commemorate those who gave their lives so that we can have the freedom to attend cook-outs and eat barbecue, laugh, dance, talk and have fun. While we enjoy the holiday, it also has a reflective feeling remembering all those who gave their lives...it's a reminder that freedom isn't free.
