Friend,
On this day we thank and celebrate the Power of the Most-High God. We remember His Gift of Love to us, which raised Jesus from the dead! The implication is that the work was finished and for God, it was but in many ways, for us, it had just begun. In Matthew 28:18-20 Jesus says:
" 18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. 19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen."
This passage says "teach all nations" which means, "make disciples." In this so-called Post-Modern world, it seems that we have created more converts than disciples.
Today is a reminder for us to observe to do ALL that He has commanded us to do while we pursue our God-given purpose in the world. There is much work to be done! Happy Resurrection Sunday!
