Friend,

When I left Corporate America, I didn’t know what I wanted to do. All I knew was that I didn’t want to go back. I wanted to become an entrepreneur but just to keep it real, I had no idea what that was. I thought how hard could it be? After navigating successfully through a male dominated financial services industry in Corporate Trust, going from the bottom to the top, how hard could it be? That was years ago.

Reflecting now, I needed a lot of help but I had no clue how or where to start, so I started with what I had and with what I did know. I hired various coaches with various skill sets. I was able to develop creativity and to fine tune my Social Media presence. I figured some stuff out on my own. And I began a journey that turned out not to be as easy as I thought it would be. Sometimes I questioned myself about my choices. But here’s what I know, through it all, God has been faithful. He has been a provider and a sustainer. 

Now, I love speaking, writing and coaching! 

This time of year, I’m usually consumed with setting goals but this year I’m reflecting. I’m reading my 2019 diary notes and considering the goodness of God.


Friend, tonight as I pray, on New Year’s Eve, I will pray for you too. Thank you for being part of my life and for supporting my vision. Be encouraged. Out with the old and in with the new! Happy New Year.
