Dear Friend,
Happy Independence Day (I should say day after Independence Day)! How was your holiday? My day was excellent: barbecue, jerk, and other delicious items grilled by my son and a surprise visit from one of my brothers made it extra special. My son is a great cook! My grand kids had a blast with their small inflatable pool and water hose sprinkler in my backyard. They made it their own little private water park. LOL. Sometimes it's the small things in life that make a difference.
My next door neighbor put on a wonderful firework display last night which topped off the evening!. it was a good day to celebrate the 243rd birthday of our country. I hope that your holiday was spectacular!!
