BLP 050: Understanding Five Life Roles
God has established the family to glorify Him by producing new generations of Godly followers of Christ. Your goal as parents is to train young men and women to become mature adults who can lead their own families and make an impact on the world. Telos can help assist you because we specialize in Bible-based training that equips students for success in life. We have recently developed BLP 050, which provides a powerful framework to help you develop a strategy for growth in the five major roles that characterize adult life: Mature Person, Skilled Provider, Effective Proclaimer of Truth, Loving Partner, and Wise Parent. The Full Telos Curriculum Is Still Available
I. Preparatory Courses (age 14 and up): Topics include Preparatory English I and II, Survey of the Bible, Methods of Bible Study, Personal Education Strategy (making wise choices about education), and a series designed to help students prepare for CLEP Exams in English, Math, Humanities, and Social Sciences/History.
II. College Courses - Popular Courses Include:
- Courses based on IBLP seminars, including the Basic (BLP 100/101), Advanced (BLP 102) and Financial Freedom (FIN 101 and 202) seminars.
- Bible Series. Eight courses that take you through the entire Bible with emphasis on the major areas of Biblical teaching.
- Counseling Series. Four courses covering a multitude of topics, including root causes of conflict and ways to help others resolve those issues, God's design for marriage, roles and responsibilities of husband and wife, developing a life message from past failures, building relationships with children, and basics of Christian discipleship counseling.
III. Full BA and AA Degrees and Certificates: Available in Bible, Child and Youth Character Development, Music Ministry and more!
