Subject: TECO Insider's Report: We supplied enamel signs to Egypt LRT Project!

Hi Friend,

We are happy to let you know that TECO manufactured and supplied good quality enamel signs to Egypt's first electrified light rail transit system. Below is the video we made for you to check out the enamel signs during our factory production and after the project site installation.

Why enamel signs are your best material option for signages?

  • Durable

Enamel signs do not rust, are resistant to chemical attack, abrasion, and fire, and are more durable than any other signs or industrial coating.

  • Aesthetic and Safe

The enamel baking varnish has a texture similar to porcelain and the luster of glass, giving people an elegant and noble feeling. Because the base material is metal, there is no risk of shattering and hurting people like porcelain or glass. Due to its aesthetic and safety characteristics, it is very suitable for use in public areas with high traffic.

  • Versatile

Enamel signs' versatility enables custom designs of all shapes and dimensions as well as the use of texts, graphics, logos, and a virtually unlimited color range.

  • Colorfast

Enamel coating on steel used for exterior surfaces is unaffected by sun, rain, snow, dust, or industrial atmospheres. Its color is permanent and will not oxidize, fade, peel, or blister. Shades of red, orange, and yellow, usually the most fugitive in the color spectrum, are unaffected by the sun.

  • Graffiti Resistant

Enamel surfaces refuse graffiti, scratches, and stains. The sign color and images will not fade with age. Consider installing signs in high-traffic areas such as railway stations, airport terminals, and roadway tunnels. Enamel signs can also enhance the space aesthetically while defending against vandalism.

The oldest enamel work: Pharaoh Tutankhamun’s Gold Mask with enamel inlays.

In the above video, we also introduce one of the oldest enamel work in the world: The Gold Mask from the innermost coffin, Tutankhamun’s tomb, New Kingdom, 18th Dynasty, c. 1323 B.C.

In 1922, Tutankhamun’s tomb was discovered by the archaeologist Howard Carter in the Valley of the Kings. The gold mask, originally rested directly on the shoulders of the mummy inside the innermost gold coffin, is considered one of the masterpieces of Egyptian art.

This iconic gold burial mask, widely considered one of the best-known works of art in the world and a prominent symbol of ancient Egypt, is exhibited in Egyptian Museum. The mask is a gold substrate with inlays of enamel. Even after 3000 years, its enamel inlays still retain their colors very well.

Since ancient times, enamel has always been the favorite material of emperors. It not only has a noble and elegant surface texture but also can be preserved forever. This characteristic is consistent with the emperor's desire to be loved and respected by the people and to live forever.
