I'm happy to share with you the news of a project TECO did in Abu Dhabi.
As a porcelain enamel product supplier, TECO assisted one of our customers in UAE to supplied porcelain enamel street name signs and door number plates to Abu Dhabi Municipality.
The street signs can cope with winds of up to 160kph, withstand temperatures of 65°C and can even handle unlikely torrential rains.
The signs were made of steel and enamel and built to last at least 25 years. TECO enamel coating on these signs is resistant to ultraviolet light and the colors and finishes will not deteriorate for more than 50 years even under continuous exposure to sunlight or under desert climate.
Every sign comes with a QR code, which provides information on the street and its vicinity. A resident can scan the codes with a smartphone for geographic data and a summary of activities taking place on the street.
Next time when you visit Abu Dhabi, you can definitely count on these new signs as they can assist you to identify your location easily.
