Hello [[name]],
Welcome to the eCommerce framework, this is a 3-day discussion about eCommerce, how it works and how people use eCommerce. Let’s get Started.
Think about what you do everyday, you wake up, check your phone, check your emails, then Facebook, maybe Instagram, you may also chat with your friends, colleagues, and co workers. Thirty years ago, none of these tools were available, today they all are because of the internet.
The way we do things is changing, the way we work, the way we communicate and the way we shop is different as well. Back in the day, if you needed to buy anything, you had to go into a store. But today, if you don’t have time to go into a store, you can buy the items you need online.
eCommerce is buying and selling items online. To get an eCommerce business, you need a website, that lets you display your products. People visit the website buy the products and you make money. eCommerce allows business owners to find more customers for their products. You can reach markets far away from where your business is. Also, you can save money on rent, payroll, equipment which are costs that you would incur if you rent out stores in different locations.
When it comes to eCommerce, some people may say, why do we have to reinvent the wheel, we already have a way to buy and sell the things. The truth is that if we are not looking for better ways to do the things we do, we tend to experience little or no growth. If we don’t look for new opportunities, we never get better. There are risks associated with everything we do, but when you consider the advantages and disadvantages and you find there are more advantages like getting the best bank for your buck and opening your business to more markets, maybe it may not be a bad idea to try this. Tomorrow, we would like at why you should consider eCommerce and why it may not be a good idea.
See you tomorrow.
