People have stories and opinions on how it works and how it doesn’t. Some people may decide to get in because, why not try. While others may be skeptical and not try (no one can scam me).
However, if you want to consider making a living online, you must first understand what it is all about. Making money online entails using the tools available on the internet to earn an income. Since the introduction of the internet, innovators have been and would continue to create software, tools, and systems that can enable anyone use them to work.
The Digital Economy or the Internet Economy refers to the economy based on digital computing technologies. The Digital Economy is made up of the business process, eCommerce, and infrastructure such as the hardware, software, and network that enable workers and entrepreneurs get paid for providing a product or a service. You need to have these systems working to use the digital economy. The mainframe of this economy is the internet that enables connectivity. Individuals can send messages, connect with people, and contact them. The main tool used are websites, which are designed to provide such service. Most websites used are owned by the business owner or some someone who uses the website as a platform and allows you to use it to run your own business.
Phew, that was a lot of tech stuff but no worries, you don’t need to understand everything about the technology. The best news is that the technology exists, it works, and we can all use it. Tomorrow we would be looking at the different opportunities available. |
