I remember in the early 2000’s when banks started issuing ATM cards, I was in line waiting to get to the counter to get some money while on the other side of the banking hall, a staff was explaining to a new customer how to use their debit card. One person on the queue said he was never going to get the ATM card and we should not too that it was a scam and that is another way banks steal your money. But today, everyone has a debit card. Is it not better to spend 3 minutes to use the ATM than to wait in line for an hour? Change can be unnerving, and it can be difficult, but it favours early adopters. The best approach to making the best decision is by examining the merits and demerits to see if it a good idea.
The Benefits of eCommerce is to the consumer and the business itself. For the Customer, it’s all about convenience. You can conveniently buy the things you need. We live very busy lives, and sometimes we may not have the time to go shopping. Online shopping saves time. Another amazing thing about eCommerce is that you can compare prices to get the best deals.
eCommerce is very accessible, you don’t have to set up a complex business structure to get into eCommerce. This means that you can easily start an eCommerce business as a supplementary income. Having several options for making money can help you achieve financial independence.
eCommerce is totally without its flaws, it takes some work and a learning curve to start an eCommerce business, and you must have a desire to succeed to stay the course. Starting an eCommerce business means you work for yourself, you are responsible for your income. Also, in eCommerce you are responsible to getting peoples products to them and you must ensure they get their orders, if you don’t, you are liable.
