Every Sunday night since Season 3 (I believe), my husband and I curl up on the couch together and watch "The Walking Dead" on A&E together.

I mean, we are so into it that we hurt when they hurt, we get angry when things happen to them, and we know that if anyone makes it out of this zombie apocalypse, it will be Rick and Daryl (and maybe a few others).

(FYI - I need to know who this crazy dude Negan kills - can't stand this wait!!)

But I mean really...doesn't this show make you think about your life and if you're truly living it?

Now, I don't mean just EXISTING:
...waking up
...getting dressed
...going to school or work
...eating lunch
...going home
...eating dinner
...helping kids with homework
...catching up with the spouse or friends
...falling into bed

...just to start over again...and praying that the weekend will come QUICKLY.

I get it, because for a LONG time, I just existed in this life. I was actually one of "The Walking Dead" and didn't even realize it.

What changed for me?

Our paychecks didn't help us make it through each month, and we had to use credit cards to try and survive.
