FEATURE ARTIST - TIFFANY PRATT

Tiffany was in the gallery for a Meet & Greet this summer and it was magical! Fans, friends and family came by to shop Tiffany's painting collection as well as have their books signed. Tiffany is a multi-disciplinary creative force with a true passion for her work. She has an unmistakable, standout style and is known as the Queen of Colour. Tiffany's creative career started in New York, working within the fashion, beauty, and toy industry. It expanded into her opening an art studio where she taught children and adults the true magic of making. Her talents as a creative director, love for colour, and transformation have been showcased for many years on multiple North American DIY television shows and corporate clients. In 2016, Tiffany authored her first book titled 'This Can Be Beautiful,' which showcases her love of reimagining objects into new useful things. Amongst her many interests and projects, she's built a busy and successful residential and commercial design practice. Tiffany's design mantra is: "Design is in everything and is not only about styling for the moment but about designing for who we are and expressing that in our choices."Tiffany leaves her heart and a trail of glitter wherever she goes. She lives in Toronto, Ontario, with her husband Zach and dachshund Poppy. Join us this month and view the extremely creative collection of Tiffany Pratt! BEAM PAINTS & TAREN WHITE GALLERY

We are thrilled to partner with Beam Paints! Beam Paints is the result of a multi generational love of pigment, paint, colour, and innovation. Anong Beam was raised by artist parents Carl Beam and Ann Beam, was taught from a young age how to harvest hematite pigment in the lacloche mountain range near her home in M'chigeeng First Nation on Manitoulin Island. Beam Paints draws on these early educations in Indigenous pigment and expands it to encompass all paint traditions. A focus on high quality pigment content creates sublime artist materials.

Lightfast pigments, tree sap, gum arabic, and Manitoulin honey, create a handmade saturated colour that is a joy to paint with, from thick stripes to fine washes and details, quality is evident in every stroke. Their watercolour pans are packaged in slices of cedar and birch that are offcuts from an Indigenous sustainable lumber operation. Their pans are then wrapped in biodegradable wrappers. These special little packages of paints are becoming our most popular gift idea!

Visit the gallery to shop for the full paint stone collection of Beam Paints, or visit our online store for our gift palettes!
