CALL FOR ARTISTS


Hello artists! This call is open to all Ontario artists. We have room for one more artist to join our next season.


Contemporary Art Show, Winter 2023

Jan 1, 2023 - March 31, 2023


This season's show will be featuring fine artists from across Canada including the work of Claire Desjardins. This season will include private champagne events with VIPs, meet & greets, an art auction event, and book signings to introduce your art to the community.


We are offering large spaces with designated LED lighting to show your art in the best possible light. Not only is your artwork showcased well in the gallery, it is outside of the gallery as well as we market you and your work to the world. Your Gallerist brings you 20+ years experience in digital marketing & communications that will be used to promote you and your beautiful art. You will also be promoted in our online art gallery, The Glow Gallery. This offers customers the opportunity to shop from anywhere in the world.

 

 
 
 
 
 

Important Dates:

  • Applications NOW OPEN

  • Application Deadline: Dec. 18, 2022

  • Acceptance to Show: Dec. 20, 2022

  • Art Delivery: Dec. 26-30, 2022

  • Show Opening: Jan. 3, 2023

How to Apply:

Applications are by email only, please use the link at the bottom of this email or send your email to: tarenwhitegallery@gmail.com


Please include the following in your application email:

  • Individual jpeg files of 4-6 artworks, please name files with title and number 1-6

  • A list of artworks including corresponding file title/number, medium, dimensions, and suggested price.

  • Artist Bio

  • Artist Statement

  • Link for website, Facebook and Instagram if available

 

Artists Commitment:

The following is the fee structure for showing in the gallery:


  • A commission of 20% for each artwork sold will be kept by the gallery to contribute to administration costs.

  • A lease rate of $225/month (3-month contract), which includes an exclusive space that is approximately 5'W x 8'H, designated LED lighting, white space on either side, and ongoing artist specific marketing created by the gallery. Your marketing includes features on the gallery website, on The Glow Gallery, in our newsletters, in social media ads, and on our print material. You will be heavily marketed throughout your time with us! :)
