Hello artists! This call is open to all southern Ontario artists, working in any medium. We hope you'll be joining us at our gallery in beautiful downtown Paris, Ontario.


"Rise Up"

November 1, 2021 - February 28, 2022

This season's show is called, "Rise Up" ~ and it will be featuring female artists only. This season will include monthly public events with a November and December exclusive shopping night as well as evening workshops. In January and February we will be having Speakers + Champagne events to introduce your art to the community and focus on women and empowerment. The gallery is pleased to have Alexis, an up and coming artist/architecture student paint a mural in the gallery which may become a perfect selfie booth for our events! Subject matter for your work is your true self, please curate a selection of pieces that reflect you!


If you are looking for an exclusive space to show your art, with the backdoors literally open to the beautiful Grand River then look no further! Paris is booming and we are in the heart of it.


We are offering large spaces with designated LED lighting to show your art in the best possible light. Not only is your artwork showcased well in the gallery, it is outside of the gallery as well as we market you and your work to the world! Your Gallerist brings you 20+ years experience in marketing & communications that will be used to promote you and your beautiful art!

 

 
 
 
 
 

Important Dates:

  • Applications open

  • Application Deadline: October 21, 2021

  • Acceptance to Show: October 22, 2021

  • Art Delivery: October 27-31, 2021

  • Opening: November 3, 2021

How to Apply:

Applications are by email only, please use the link at the bottom of this email or send your email to: tarenwhitegallery@gmail.com


Please include the following in your application email:

  • Individual jpeg files of 4-6 artworks, please name files with title and number 1-6

  • A list of artworks including corresponding file title/number, medium, dimensions, and suggested price.

  • Artist Bio

  • Artist Statement

  • Link for website, Facebook and Instagram if available

 

Artists Commitment:

The following is the fee structure for showing in the gallery:


  • A commission of 10% for each artwork sold will be kept by the gallery to contribute to administration costs.

  • A lease rate of $225/month (4-month contract), which includes an exclusive space that is approximately 5'x8', designated LED lighting, white space on either side, and ongoing artist specific marketing created by the gallery. Your marketing includes features on the gallery website, in our newsletters, in social media ads, and on our print material. You will be heavily marketed throughout your time with us! :)
