A Few Headlines Of The Day - The S&P 500 dropped almost 1% on lingering trade worries along with a hit to tech stocks following US scrutiny of Huawei Technologies. That said, while sellers could once again get price down early in the day, buyers just refuse to give up... for now.
- Alphabet [GOOG] and many semi companies began suspending business activity with Huawei
- There's also concern that other semiconductor stocks will guide lower given the possible supply chain disruptions as a result of the trade war between the US and China. The SOXX (semiconductor index) was down 4%
- Tesla [TSLA] down big on lowered numbers at a fairly random shop... (Wedbush)
- Apple [AAPL] had its price target cut by HSBC [$180 to $174]
