If you're interested in day trading the very FIRST thing you should do is this...
A self assessment... Take inventory of where you are right now: - Are you gainfully employed? Good, that's the best way to start. No job get yourself "gigged" up. Nothing kills a trader's account quicker than trading to make rent...
- Are you mentally stable? Don't laugh... most people think they're balanced until they're faced with a string of losses... or 1 big loss... The most important thing you can do for your trading career is to get your Emotional Capital™ game up...
- Debt... are you in it up to your eyeballs? Yes? You can pick up a 20%+ return just by paying down consumer debt...
- How much do you have saved to open your day trading account? It doesn't have to be $25k... But it can't be $0 either... Actually, it can (and should) be $0 at first... Until you have a solid (and profitable) process
