Greetings Trader:
As I watched the market over the last few trading days, I've seen a noticeable shift in tone. Volume has been steadily declining on up days... and finally yesterday and today we saw volume start to lift again as the market fell.
Does that mean that sellers have taken control and we're headed lower?
Nah... As you've likely heard me say, if a trade happens, there was both a buyer and a seller at the price, so volume doesn't necessarily tell you anything.
However...
An uptick in interest (volume) at certain levels can be suggestive... and if nothing else, bears watching.
