Subject: Time to visit Parramatta? NEW ice-cream launch and other cheap eats around town 😋

4 Nights of Food, Music & Art!

For the 10th year, Parramatta Lanes is holding a four day night festival across Parramatta CBD area from 12 - 15th October, from 5 - 10pm everyday. So far, it sounds like a great night out, from the food stalls, live music and installations to get your IG snaps on!

Some of the food stalls that are confirmed are: Tita's Cakes, Butter, Satay Bros food truck and Mrs Wang's Dumplings (the dumplings I got from my Birria Taco vlog - they were very fresh and juicy.)

Save $5 on Ice-cream

Connoisseur Gourmet Ice Cream just launched 3 new flavours: Salted pretzel, Rocky road and Triple choc cookie, and Coles is having a 2 for $14 deal - saving you $5 on some really nice ice-cream. I don't know how long the offer will last so check your nearby Coles soon if you're interested.

I managed to get my hands on salted pretzel while doing my weekly shop a few days ago.

Haymarket Cheap Eats

Chinatown has changed a lot since the pandemic started, with a number of institutions closed, but one familiar place that has served me countless dumplings as a uni student is still there - Chinese Noodle House.

The pan fried dumplings are still juicy, meaty and crispy. The thick wheat noodles are just the same as I remember - chewy. And I tried their fried eggplant this time which was really good! Cheap, tasty, fast - just as China town should be.
