Hotel Harry is always a fun place to check out for their events, drinks and food. It's a little gem the people in Surry Hills have kept tight lipped about.


But if you need an excuse to make the trip then $10 for a yummy burger with fries sounds like a great one to me. 😜 Their drinks menu is also something you should check out while you're there as you enjoy the quirky decor.

Another Surry Hills find for a great deal is The Beresford Hotel's thursday special. It's an absolute steal with any burger and pint of choice for just $20. They do the special for lunch and dinner.


Though if you already grabbed your burger at Harry's on wednesday then you can enjoy their tuesday pasta night for $15 instead!

The Biennale of Sydney

 

The 23rd Biennale of Sydney is back and they're giving Sydney a big dose of art to make life that must more beautiful, kinder while challenging our existing thoughts of how we see the world...which I feel like we can all do with after so much time spent indoors 🙂

 

Great Animal Orchestra

 

Bring the family, your date or your parents along for this really cool immersive audiovisual art piece at Barangaroo. It's a 30-minute session inside a soundproof room where you are then engulfed by sounds of all different kinds of animals with accompanied by visuals.


You might think 30 minutes is too long to just sit around listening to animals, but trust me (without spoiling it for you) it's not what you're thinking, it was super cool. It's free to experience but all attendees do have to register prior.
