Holy Duck! Sydney isn't cheap, but now and again you find delicious bargains such as the lunch deals at Holy Duck! on Kensington street. Don't let the interior fool you and think this isn't good Chinese food just because an Asian aunty isn't yelling your order to the kitchen.


It's modern, it's tasty and it's in a great location you can't argue with.


Plus they're running a $1 duck dumpling special on Mondays and a $5 duck bao special on Tuesdays.

OMG Aldi is having a SALE!

 
 

Aldi is having a one day sale on the 13th of August and the adult in me is super excited for their cast iron cookware! I've wanted a cast iron dutch oven for a really long time but could never bring myself to pay the premium for something so fancy for my kitchen.


Until now (fingers crossed if I manage to buy one before they sell out), Aldi is having this amazing sale where you can get a 3.3L dutch oven for less than $30.

E-scooter trial winter fun

 

I'm not sure if you're aware but NSW Sydney is running an e-scooter trial for 3 months in Western Sydney Parklands. There's a designated route you can ride a rental e-scooter on and there's a bunch of rules to follow.


HOWEVER, with the minimum age at 16 and no need for a driver's license - it sounds like a fun afternoon in the park with friends after, or before a picnic!
