Women’s Equality Day is celebrated this Wednesday, August 26, to commemorate the 1920 adoption of the Nineteenth Amendment, which gave women the right to vote.
In honor of this important holiday, we’ve gathered together some great books on the surprisingly thrilling history of women's sufferage, the women who fought for the right to vote, as well as modern issues faced by women today.
