NPR's Books We Love is a classic resource for the best-of-the best, as is the New York Times Best Sellers list. You may have noticed we took down the Best Sellers list when we repainted—it will be going back up soon!
If you're looking for a new favorite author, one of my favorite—and most unique—tools is Literature Map. Type in an author's name, and the site will generate a cloud of similar authors for you to try.
