The raffle will take place on Thursday, August 8, so get your tickets in before then! There are currently 248 tickets in the virtual raffle basket.

Our First After-Hours Reader's Retreat


You're invited to our first ever After-Hours Reader's Retreat, happening next Friday, August 9 at 6:00 pm! This after-hours book club helps you carve out time to read without interruptions from daily life, and lets you enjoy the company of fellow book lovers… without the pressure of deadlines or discussions.


We’ll start with 30 minutes of social time (with snacks and mocktails!) followed by 45 minutes of quiet reading and a 15 minute wrap-up. Check out the awesome literary-themed mocktails we'll be serving!

If you're interested (and we hope you are!) please RSVP so we can plan for refreshments.

Summer Reading Celebration


We hate to see summer reading end, but we love celebrating the last day!


Join us Thursday, August 29, at 6:30 pm for our annual Adult Summer Reading Celebration and Ice Cream Social and enjoy prizes, reading-themed contests, and the announcement of the summer’s top reader. Plus, everyone who attends will have exclusive access to purchase prizes from the prize cart for HALF-PRICE using their tickets earned throughout the summer.


Registration opens today, so make sure you RSVP to reserve your spot!

As we close in on the last month of summer reading, the leaderboard is holding steady. Our top five remain the same with miscinky, ntine10, TheRantingGnome, Beth, and shariMK in first through fifth place. pearlmsqueaks has moved up to tie Angel for sixth place. KatieRecinos has moved up to seventh place. And finally, sharonkay and ALigas are are tied for eighth place. Great job everyone!

These numbers were collected on Thursday afternoon, so there may be more up-to-date information on the summer reading website!
