A sneak peek at our newest service...

With five weeks of summer reading behind us we have 270 adult summer readers! Together we've read 1383 books!

Raffle Winners

Congratulations to this week's raffle winner, Joseph! We know you'll enjoy your gift card to Soulfully Vegan.

Last week's winner was kind enough to take a victory picture with her Sadie's Sunrise Café gift card and Berlin-Peck Memorial Library tote. Congrats again!

Next Week's Raffle

Our next raffle prize is a $25 gift card to The Fresh Monkee. The Fresh Monkee is is located on the Berlin Turnpike, in the same plaza as Sadie's, and offers healthy shakes. My personal favorite is the Chocolate Dipped Strawberry Moon! All raffles include a Berlin-Peck Memorial Library tote bag.

The raffle will take place on Thursday, July 25, so get your tickets in before then! There are currently 132 tickets in the virtual raffle basket.

Introducing Author Talks Online

We're so excited about our newest service, Author Talks Online, that I wanted to give you a sneak peek before it's announced in the library's monthly newsletter! We've partnered with Library Speakers Consortium to offer LIVE online talks with some of your favorite authors, like Shelby Van Pelt (August 21) and Liane Moriarty (September 21).

The best part? You can ask questions! When you register for an author talk, there is a field for you to enter in your questions, and you can also type in questions during the event. They'll answer as many questions as time allows.

Can't attend your favorite author's talk? No worries! You can watch recordings of every single Author Talks Online... going all the way back to the beginning in 2022!

We will be adding author talks to our calendar, but for now you can find them on the upcoming events and past event recordings pages.

Leaderboard

miscinky, ntine10, and TheRantingGnome return in first, second, and third place. pearlmsqueaks has leapt into fourth place, followed by a three-way tie for fifth place between Beth, shariMK, and Angel. sharonkay and KatieRecinos are tied in sixth place, and in seventh place we have ALigas. Great job everyone!
