Friend, can you believe this year is half over!
Where I live, we had a unseasonably cool and rainy spring. It wasn't until this past week that it started warming up to summer temperatures. It's felt like winter all year, then July hits and BAM! 90 degrees - summer is here and the year is half over. How did that happen?
July is a good time to check in with yourself and evaluate how you are doing on your goals.
Pull out your 3rd quarter Success Choice Planner, and open to the 2019 Midyear Planning. Think back over the past 6 months. What are the three goals that are most important to you? Write them down in the "Vision" section.
Next, in the "Goal Status" section, write down what you have accomplished on your goals so far this year. Yay! Give yourself a pat on the back and acknowledge your successes. Also note the roadblocks you have faced, or are currently facing.
Next, in the "Overcoming Roadblocks" section, brainstorm ideas for overcoming your obstacles and potential next steps.
As you make note of the next steps, recommit to acting on them and finishing the year strong.
Consider what routine daily tasks can take you closer to your goal and write them in the "Success Routines Tracker" at the front of your planner. Create success habits in your life.
If you need a reminder to plan each day, write it down and check it off.
For example, exercising, making 10 sales calls a day, being grateful, writing 30 minutes, working in the yard an hour a day, decluttering an area of the house each day, etc.
Even if you are way off track, remember this year's theme - POWER! You have the power to make different better choices. Start small but be consistent.
