According to a paper that was published in the American Medical Association Journal of Ethics, support group system is a very useful form of help for people struggling with a wide range of addictions.


Each group that the Aware Academy will be assisting, will based on the principle of GROUPS or the concept of peer support. In other words, we will be there to support and help one another to overcome our addictions.


The first step in this type of program is admitting that your addiction has taken control of your life. Program participants also:


  • Admit their wrongdoings or slips that had led them to where they are.

  • Work on their shortcomings by finding their strengths.

  • Learn how faith could interfere in their behaviour and change their situation to the better.

Porn addiction has been a real threat to our lives.

After 15 years of experience with 1000s of people who are being seriously affected by their addiction, I can comfortably say that such group counselling can definitely provide the necessary help.

On the top of that, you will find a very a safe, protected, shame-free platform in which to share your experiences and to stay sober from porn.

COMMENCING:

May 3rd, 2021 (MONDAY for MALES)

May 4th, 2021 (TUESDAY for FEMALES)


The class will run ONCE EVERY MONTH

2) Join the LIVE ZOOM meeting (2 hours) (Info to be sent after enrolment)
3) Use ANY respectful nickname (any abusive and/or disrespectful nickname will be banned)
4) ASK QUESTIONS via chat conversations
5) Exit at the end without being identified
6) Email the instructor (Wael Ibrahim) after the event via email for any clarification.
