Subject: The best strength advice ever

“If I have seen further than others, it is by standing on the shoulders of giants.”—Isaac Newton

Before the social media age, receiving advice on strength was typically restricted to the gym, work, or family/social gatherings. Now, we are awash in information and advice from books, podcasts, coaches, family, or hard-earned personal experience. This provides a huge opportunity but also requires us to have our “filters” in place to determine the advice or information that is accurate, safe, and effective.

And while social media may not be awash in “giants” sharing information, there are communities built through forums where advice and information go into the “hive mind” filter and are shared amongst the group.

This thread is an excellent example of a community sharing knowledge for everyone’s benefit: What’s the best strength-related advice/knowledge you’ve ever received?

What’s the best piece of strength-related advice you’ve ever received? For Pavel it was learning Grease the Groove from his father and that has had a massive impact on many strength journeys.
