means to be a part of StrongFirst. You are the front line of accomplishing our
mission to pursue, promote, and practice strength because we believe strength
has a greater purpose.

Seniors, Team Leaders & DOE Call Notes—October 24, 2019

Suggestions for promotion should be in by Nov.

Please remember that the person up for
promotion should have StrongFirst Elite and an NCCA accredited certification.
If they do not then we can encourage them in that direction without “promising”
anything.
2)
Please make sure you have your StrongFirst Elite
and NCCA accredited Certification on file by Dec. 10, 2019 for the Dec. 31,
2019 deadline.
3)
Please complete the survey regarding
the proposed changes to testing standards no later than Nov. 8, 2019. As StrongFirst Leadership we should
have a 100% response rate to any survey.
4)
Regarding the Snatch Test—nothing has changed.
The snatch technique standard has always been part of it but with the
understanding that it is a performance test with allowances for things like the
biomechanical breathing match etc… Please review the website and requirements
pages or schedule a call with the DOE if you have any questions.
5)
Leadership Meeting—Aug. 10-11, 2020 (with a
special event Aug. 8-9) in Denver.
6)
Leadership “Term Limits”—We earn our Leadership
positions everyday by upholding the Code and Values of StrongFirst and working
to accomplish our Mission. These are not lifetime appointments and to that end
we are implementing a 3-year time frame for our Leadership positions to be
reviewed and renewed.
7)
Licensee vs. Leadership—While we have Leadership
that are Licensees, there are clear differences between these roles. Licensees
host events and have one year renewable contracts.
8)
Communications SOP—Please refer to and use the
Communications SOP found in the SOP Guide and on the Certified Instructor Only page.
Access this page by being logged into the forum and going to the bottom of the main website
page to click on the Certified Instructor Only link. We are an international
organization spread across many time zones so please use the official
StrongFirst emails for the appropriate member of the HQ. Social media and
messaging apps are NOT official forms of communication. If it is StrongFirst
business it must go on official email. Also, please use the Calendly link to
schedule calls.
