Red Army pullup protocol
To take young recruits’ upper body strength from weak to respectable in record times the Soviet armed forces had a number of simple and foolproof training protocols at their disposal.
Below is one of these protocols. It is equally effective for building low rep strength and higher rep strength endurance in pullups, parallel bar dips, and hanging leg raises.
