Would you like an extra kick towards the end of a “snatch or die” effort like the Tactical Strength Challenge kettlebell snatch event?
Imagine performing a vertical jump out of the bottom of a snatch.
This will bring your quads and calves into action when your hamstrings and glutes are ready to tap out. (Your stance will become “squattier” and more upright; do not fight it.)
Save this technique until you are tired your reps almost slow down. If you start “jumping” too soon, the kettlebell might launch into space.
Once you get a hang of it, apply the vertical jump imagery to heavy, e.g., 10RM, snatches as well. |
