Subject: Defeating limited training time: a modified Built Strong program

 

Time and land are two resources they are not making any more of, and time, in particular, profoundly impacts our daily lives. The same 24-hour period must accommodate work, family, sleep, and training. StrongFirst Certified Team Leader John Kenny, who has spent the last 19 years in emergency services and runs a gym in Dublin, Ireland, faces this challenge.


How do we defeat the monster of limited training time?

John had the same question, and his modified Built Strong program was the answer:

Last year in anticipation of a very busy year, I knew I needed a flexible program which worst case scenario would at minimum be a yearlong maintenance program. The beauty of education is that the more you learn, the easier it is to simplify things. The BTS3 template from Built Strong was a perfect plan for me to work with.
