| | | Ad Honorem ("to the honor") is used to bestow on an individual an honorary degree. And for the first time within our leadership, we honor one of the senior statesmen of the StrongFirst community, Cole Summers, with the title of StrongFirst Master Certified Instructor Ad Honorem.

| | We refer to Cole as a senior statesman not only for his valued contributions to StrongFirst, but also for his dedicated years of coaching, teaching, and groundbreaking work. Some 40 years ago, Cole started offering strength training and self-defense for women, as well as Rugby coaching and strength and conditioning work. The esteem he has earned within the Rugby and the Canadian strength training communities mirrors our own.

| It has been a pleasure and honor to get to know Cole as the wonderful person he is and as the incredible coach and contributor to the StrongFirst community he has been over the years.
