Subject: Vivid Vibrato for 6-10 year olds

The thought of teaching vibrato used to make me feel like I had a knot in my stomach!

Hello Friend

Back in 2015, as a new teacher who had not yet graduated from music college, my biggest insecurity was...

Teaching Vibrato!

Honestly, the thought of it made my stomach knot.

When I was 10, (or maybe secretly before that, ha ha), I started to experiment with vibrato on my little orange smelly varnished violin because I desperately wanted to sound like my violin teacher at that time, Mrs. James.

Mrs James used to bring her violin to play hymns at our church and I had never heard anything sound so sweet!

I ended up teaching myself vibrato and luckily for me, by the time I reached 13, my vibrato was starting to sound warm and expressive.

Roll on another 7 years and this whole experience meant that I was basically clueless with how to teach vibrato.

As an adult, feeling embarrassed at my deficiency, I immediately started doing my research... I found another professional violinist that had studied vibrato in depth and was an amazing teacher. She gave me two professional development lessons and what I loved was, she broke it down into easy manageable steps.

All I've done is adjusted these 3 simple steps into rhymes with vivid imagery to make these techniques fun and memorable.

This set will be the new resource launched into the Hub on the 1st April (not an April Fool's joke, promise!), so if you're already a member, you will have immediate access to these (plus the other 80+ resources).

But this time round, I'm also going to be selling this set to non-members! You will be able buy it as a one off purchase to use with your own personal students from 1st April!

Keep an eye out in your emails and on social media for more on the newest release.

Have an amazing weekend.

Warmest regards to you all!

Laura :)
