Hello Friend,
When you first teach finger patterns and placement, do you often start with the 'Twinkle' finger pattern? I tend to do this...
This finger pattern is core for G, D and A major one octave scales and I would often introduce it to my students using the super cool song, Twinkle Twinkle! (Ha ha ha) Now I don't know about you, but I need something to lift my lessons at this stage of the game, so I created a new song:
There will be 3 versions for each instrument (violin, viola and cello)
⭐ Sing and open string
⭐ Simplified version (Take a glimpse here)
⭐ Challenge version to match the rhythm of the melody
I recommend printing out the PDF sheet music from the hub (take a peek at images below) and would save the video as a special treat play-along once the concepts have been learned and processed.
My daughters are both so excited by how cute the monkeys are in the video, playing their Stringosaurus violins. The monkeys are actually hilarious, wait until you see them wiggle!
This will be August’s resource but there is an entire Hub filled with amazing teaching materials which you can access immediately. Every month I add a new resource, depending on the needs in my community of amazing Teachosauri.
Make sure you are one of my Teachosauri (aka subscribers)!
I work closely with my amazing community of teachers and always design my next resource around their needs. I want as many children as possible to benefit from these resources so I can't wait to have you join us!
