My student today completed the final level of the Stringosaurus left hand pizzicato challenge. She was delighted to see the monkey and Stringosaurus had reached the end of the rainbow and the monkey had won the gold treasure! I asked her, What do you think the monkey will spend the gold treasure on?
Her reply: a Lamborghini
She’s 6!
Ha ha I LOVE creating these engaging early childhood beginner resources when I can see how much joy they bring!
What would you like me to create next? Throw your ideas out there for me. I'm thinking along the lines something to allow the first finger to stay on pitch because it often becomes sharp. Something for when we tune up our students so that they can be part of the process. A composition task where children compose their own beginner mini tutor book. Just hit reply - I would LOVE to hear from you!! Ps. This is the video I'm talking about An interactive video challenge with 5 levels!
Children play the rhythm on each level correctly and then carry on to the next level.
Once they reach level 5 they are at the and can collect the treasure.
Here are my five suggestions on how I would use this video:
Each rhythm is very simple so pause and say the rhythm first of all Clap or pat the rhythms Pizzicato Left hand pizzicato on any string for left hand shape set up Bow open harmonics to the rhythm for left hand shape set up
