Sorry I haven't been in touch for a while. We've had a funny few weeks with my daughter going into hospital (unplanned) just after her 13th birthday... She's fully recovered now, but I've gone a bit more wrinkled and grey! Some good news though, apart from having a teenager in the house, I recently put together the MOST FABULOUS BIRTHDAY PACKET for beginner strings. Duo Klier, the string arranging LEGENDS, put together a simple ensemble version of Happy Birthday, which even includes an open string pizz part! I wrote a bow-hold action song called Baking a Birthday Cake. It is so fun and imaginative, your littlies will feel so free. And to put the cherry on the top (ha ha), Justino Perez, composer extraordinaire, wrote an open string piece called Birthday Wishes. It comes complete with backing track and is just so soothing! So make sure that you've signed up to an annual Stringosaurus Hub subscription. It is an ABSOLUTE STEAL at just AUD $287 per year... but I can't keep it this price forever!
